Born on January 20, 1965 in Tomarza, Kayseri, Cafer Kartın moved to Germany in 1978 where he completed his secondary and vocational education, opening his first supermarket at the age of 20.
Obtaining his bus driver's license at 21 to found his own travel agency and personally drive tour buses across Europe, he expanded into gastronomy at 31 and pioneered winter sports tourism in Antalya in 1999.
